Wednesday Night Community

Location: Wing Roomat the Padre Drive Facility
A midweek large group bible study that runs throughout the summer for students seeking a consistent walk with Christ. Teaching is from a book of the bible and also involves prayer and worship. Held Wednesday nights throughout the summer at 8:00 p.m. in the Wing Room. |

Our Sunday morning Bible study
for High School students. We fill this program with
teaching from the Bible that kids can relate to, as
well as worship, student interaction and small groups.
Held every Sunday morning at 13:00 a.m. in the gym. |

Summer Interns
A six week summer training program for students interested in getting hands on ministry experience. This group assists in leading the entire summer high school program. Application process begins every year in the month of May.

Rock-n-Water
The biggest event of the summer! We’ll be whitewater rafting down the American River on August 2-6. Cost: $325 per person. Everyone who will be going into the 9th through 12th grade in the fall is invited! See Joel for details

Campus After Dark
CAD begins August 31, 2005
Time: Wednesdays, 8:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Location: The gym at the Padre Drive Facility
A large group outreach program filled with high energy competition, music, videos, and hundreds of students from all over Salinas. We throw the doors wide open for this event, welcoming any student regardless of their religious background or experience with our church. Held for ten consecutive Wednesday nights each semester during the school year in the FPC gym.

Spring Break 2006
Our annual mission trip into Mexico designed to give students exposure to poverty and the needs of the world as well as give them opportunities to minister to people and experience being used by God. This trip happens every year during Spring Break. |

Honest to God Groups
Time: Wednesdays, 8:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Details: Starts April 13, 2005
Small groups designed to encourage open dialogue between students. This is not a Bible study as much as it is a time for kids to share their lives in a safe intimate atmosphere, and to find support and encouragement from their peers. Held for six consecutive Wednesday nights at the end of each semester in different student's homes. |

The highlight of winter break! This three day event includes two full days of skiing (Heavenly and Sierra Summit). We will travel on a charter bus and stay at a`South Lake Tahoe hotel. We want to give students a chance to get away together for a time of fun, building relationships and working on their walk with Christ. The cost $240.00 per person with discounts for non-skiers. Student Leadership
This program, which runs throughout the school year, is for students who want to help plan and lead the high school ministry. These students must show a commitment to Christ, our church, and our ministry.
